Topher Scott returns to the Chicago area where he grew up and won a National Championship with CYA in 2000.
He played junior hockey in the USHL and was a 2-year captain with the Chicago Steel before going on to play college hockey at Cornell University where he was also a 2 year captain and ECAC Champion.
Following a brief minor-pro career, Topher went on to be the Graduate Assistant Coach at Miami-OH where he won a CCHA Championship and coached Hobey Baker award winner Andy Miele. He then got a job as an Assistant Coach with his alma mater Cornell where he won multiple Ivy League Championships and was instrumental in recruiting the teams that have been Number One in the country in recent years.
Topher has built many great relationships around North America through his high level coaching experience and looks forward to bringing that experience to the Storm. Topher resides in Vernon Hills with his wife, Emma, and two daughters, Paige and Lucy.
