WINDY CITY STORM G19 PLAYER SYDNEY LAMB IS SELECTED FOR US U18 WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM

In October, Sydney participated in the Team USA U18 Women’s World Championship Selection Camp in Blaine, Minnesota. There were 28 girls from around the country in attendance in hopes to earn a spot on the Women's World Championship Team, which will take play in Finland this January.  The last two years, Sydney has been a member of the USA U18 Select Team that played Canada in August.

Yesterday, the US National team announced the roster for the U18 Women's World Championship Team and Sydney Lamb was selected as one of the 9 defense that will be traveling to Vanata, Finland from January 4-12.

Asked about the upcoming camp she said, “It’s always an honor to represent the country and wear the Team USA jersey.  There’s a lot of talent in this country and at these camps especially. It forces me to elevate my game.”

Sydney decided to attend the TPH Academy for her senior year.  “TPH has helped me work on skills that I don’t usually get to work on during my team practices. Having the extra workouts and ice sessions have already helped me see a jump in my game. And the schooling is very flexible so I am able to do my work on the road to tournaments.”

Congratulations to Sydney Lamb, we're excited to watch Sydney overseas representing our country!
