The Windy City Storm is pleased to announce U18 forward, Sam Grimaldi, (@samgrimaldi66) has signed a tender agreement with the New Mexico Ice Wolves in the North American Hockey League (NAHL).
Grimaldi, who has scored 31 points in 21 regular season games to date and is the team leading scorer.
Grimaldi has been with the program dating back to the CYA days playing U15 and has progressed through the now Windy City Storm, playing U16 in 21-22 and currently this season with the U18 team. Sam is the 4th U18 team member this season so far to sign a tender agreement in the NAHL or to be called up, joining Landon Greenough (Anchroage), Matt Croxall (Maryland), Owen O’Rear (Aberdeen-Call Up).
“Our program is extremely excited for Sammy and the Grimaldi family. Sam bought into the process and has been rewarded for it. We look forward to watching him grow as player for the rest of the season and into his bright future,” comments Head Coach U18 Anthony Bohn.
