WCS Girls Hockey is thrilled to officially welcome their newest member to the coaching staff, former CYA alum and Northeastern University Graduate, Andrea Renner. Renner’s AAA career began with CYA in 2012 clinching the clubs first ever U14 National Championship Title and later captaining both the U16 and U19 teams on her path to the NCAA where she has spent her last 6 years playing Division 1 hockey.

Andrea graduates as a 5x Hockey East Champion and 4-year Assistant Captain leading the Huskies to two Frozen Four appearances in 2021 and 2022. She will join the club April 4, 2022, after graduating with an undergraduate degree in Communications and a Masters in Sports Management. Andrea’s skill set and passion for the game will be utilized on and off the ice serving as the Assistant Director of Hockey Operations and U14 Associate Head Coach with Frank Bisceglie next season.

“There is no doubt that Andrea’s passion for the game and experience playing at the highest level will make a difference in the lives of our WCS student-athletes. Her demonstrated leadership qualities and team-oriented spirit to grow the game will play an instrumental role in guiding our girls down a similar path towards their dreams. We are excited to welcome her to our staff this spring as we remain committed to being a leader in development and helping our girls reach their full potential. On behalf of the entire club please welcome Andrea back to our CYA family.”
